It is all about brothers...

There are a variety of stories about brothers in the cinema' life. Many movies and cartoons are devoted to the theme of their relationship. I call your attention to these beautiful videos reflecting issues between different brothers from different stories.

Snow White again and again...(Part 4)

Mirror Mirror.

One of the best descriptions of a movie I have ever seen:

After the death of her mother and the mysterious disappearance of her father the Snow White (Lily Collins) has to live with the stepmother — the shitty queen (Julia Roberts), reckoning on the young and extremely attractive prince (Armi Hammer).

Picture editing

If you wish to watch at the original sized pictures, just click on them!)

this is the original picture (I highlighted details which I removed)

this is the edited picture

here is the process of editing:
1. I removed and improved some details(round with red on the first picture) using Clone Tool
2. I cut the man from another picture and transfered on mine using Magic Wand Mask Tool and Brush Mask Tool
3. I inserted the picture(you see the poster in the left high corner), which I resized first of all, made it smaller.
4. I adjusted saturation, lightness and brightness a bit to make picture more saturated.

Snow White again and again...(Part 2)

Now in 2012 the movie creators decided to create two more movies about Snow White. These are totally different pictures - one is dark, the other is humorous - and they radically change our view on the history of "the fairest girl in the world"...

Snow White again and again... (Part 1)

German story about beautiful, kind and brave girl with the snow white skin and about her seven little friends was popular always and still stay. 24 movies and cartoons showing us their adventures have been already shot and there are 2 more on their way. Let's look through the history a bit...

The cinema and the comics

I have noticed recently that there are a lot of films in the cinematograph which are based on comics about superheroes. And I asked myself – why? Why the directors are so fond of shooting movies about the unusual characters from comics’ stories? And why are we so fond of watching them?

Just some good quotes about cinema&movie :)

“If it's a good movie, the sound could go off and the audience would still have a perfectly clear idea of what was going on.”
“The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder.”
“For me, the cinema is not a slice of life, but a piece of cake.”
“Disney has the best casting. If he doesn't like an actor he just tears him up.”
(Alfred Hitchcock)

“The movie should disturb the viewer as a pebble in the shoe.” (Lars von Trier)
