The cinema and the comics

I have noticed recently that there are a lot of films in the cinematograph which are based on comics about superheroes. And I asked myself – why? Why the directors are so fond of shooting movies about the unusual characters from comics’ stories? And why are we so fond of watching them?

In my opinion, for creators it not only about money from the great number of comics’ fans coming to the cinemas(well, this too of courseJ)…It is really interesting to realize the imagined heroes into life, watching how actors are performing, see the drawn characters as real people.

Doubtless, the movies about guys with strong wish to change the world (well, save or destroy evenJ), change their life forever, guys with cool unusual abilities, strong with their powers but weak with their feelings still, these movies are always inspire us, simple people. Plus, movies help some of us, who have no idea of what comics are, to become being interested in them and find out their history and original destinies of “new favorite heroes”, as happened with me, actuallyJ

If you are interested, here are two links leading to the web-sites of DC comics and Marvel comics, the biggest American companies that publish comic books and related media:

And as a conclusion some pictures and video concerning the most expected comics’ based movie of this year…..The Avengers!!! With our favorite stars: Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and the others.

Next - what do the actors think about their comics' heroes?
To be continued...
